To the deaths we face, let us see that the stories we believe aren’t where it ends. Let us see that it’s within the untangling that things start to blur and the unknown becomes the central presence. Then we shall ask are we willing to lean into what we don’t know or are we willing to slumber back into our comfortabilities?
To the death that we see and are being confronted with, may we look at the violence and see the ways we are violent in our own lives. Individual is just a fractal of the whole. To witness the violence in our own actions and want to change could be the medicine we need.
This piece came to me through a series of introspection with sharks and contemplating impermance and immortality. To whom ever the siren song sings, I hope you find what you are looking for in this piece <3
